Privacy Policy

The short version

Tsaraforge Digital ("we", "us") builds software with a deliberately small data appetite, and this site is the plainest expression of that. It is a set of static pages. It has no database, no back end of its own, and runs no scripts that report anything about your visit to anyone.

What this website collects

Nothing. To be specific about what that rules out, this site does not use:

• Analytics of any kind, including Google Analytics
• Advertising or re-marketing networks
• Social media tracking pixels or embedded widgets
• Cookies, local storage or other identifiers set by us
• Contact, newsletter or sign-up forms

We do not build a profile of you, and we have no way to recognise you if you return.

What our host necessarily sees

We should be straight about the one thing that is unavoidable. This site is served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like every web server, it has to receive your request in order to answer it, and it keeps operational logs of those requests — typically the IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string.

That data is handled by Google under its own terms, is used to serve and protect the site, and is not something we collect, read, analyse or connect to anything else. We do not export it, and we do not use it to identify visitors.

We mention it because a privacy policy claiming literally zero data would be inaccurate, and we would rather tell you exactly where the line is.

If you email us

Every contact link on this site opens your own email client. There is no web form and nothing is submitted through this site.

If you choose to email us, we receive what you send — your email address, your message, and anything else you put in it — and we keep it for as long as we need it to deal with what you wrote about. We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else. We will not add you to a mailing list.

Our apps are separate

This policy covers this website only. Our applications have their own policies, because they do different things:

• Podsmith Privacy Policy — tournament data stays on your device
• Christmas Magic is still in development. It will publish its own policy before it is available to anyone.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information, and we have never done so. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only third party involved in this website is our hosting provider, described above. We would disclose information if a valid legal process required it, which has not happened.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information. Because this site holds none, in practice these rights apply to any email correspondence between us.

Email us and we will act on it. We will not ask you to create an account or verify your identity through a third party in order to exercise a right.

Children

This website is aimed at adults — it is a company site describing our work. It is not directed to children, and because it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page changes with them and the "Last updated" date above moves. If we ever added analytics or a form, it would be described here before it went live — not quietly afterwards.
